Digital Hand Drawing Advantages
Like I have said before on this website, and for those that already know me, I love drawing and I love animals as well. I do have a sincere and honest passion for pencil drawing. The organic sound of the friction between the paper and tip of the pencil, the smell of the graphite and the whole creative process makes this experience unique.
However, Digital drawings open a whole world of possibilities. I’d like to think of a combination of both worlds. The hand drawing combined with the technological devices. This allows me to reach pets lovers in places where I have never thought it would be possible.
With the technological elements, I now switched the wooden pencil for a plastic device that allows me to create digital hand drawings on a tablet instead of a canvas and still enjoy the creative process.
At first, I was a little doubtful about crossing this line, but the ability to reach people in other cities, and countries, really excites me!
There are no reasons to stay away from a whole opportunity to connect with other pet lovers around the world and do what I like to do for them.
The digital drawings allow making my work a lot more affordable. Since there are no shipping costs or other issues associated with physical transportation like lost or damaged packages, delays, etc. This really makes the workflow and transactions easier and faster.
On the other hand, you have the opportunity to choose what to do with the drawings. With the high-resolution digital drawing, you are able to print your pet’s portraits on clothes, coffee mugs, print it in your preferred photo paper, canvas, metal, acrylic, etc.
Some of my clients have used my drawings for logo creations, even for tattoos!
There are a lot of places where you can order this type of print online, or you can search your local photo labs to see what products they offer to print your beautiful furry friend (or not so furry).
Image Requirements
My ultimate goal is to create a beautiful drawing, capture the personality of your pet and make you happy. To achieve this, I need a sharp image of your pet. If I receive a blurry image or an image where the pet is too far and, when I expand the photo it became pixelated, this makes it impossible for me to create an amazing drawing.
Sometimes I have to ask my clients to send a different photo or re-take it.
This is why I receive the orders first and then I send a secured method of payment. I do not want to get paid for a drawing that does not honor the pet and does not make the pet owner happy.

However, in some cases, a pet lover has no options, their pets have passed away and they want to have its portrait as a memorial. In this case I do my best to work with available images to create a meaningful portrait.
